Who are we?

Medialog Platform is an entity to bring members of media and academicians together to produce discussion in the media and to produce new ideas and new projects in addition to enhance occupational communication

Our Goals are:

·         to arrange annual National Forum meetings to discuss occupational problems. We intend to engage media workers in publishing, broadcasting and internet media to talk and discuss freely about major issues in the media such as sectoral problems, editorial independence, and media ethics with each other through these meetings.

 
·         to carry out monthly meetings to discuss daily sectoral issues in an academic panel format.

 
·         to arrange international meetings in order to contribute to the existence of a sustainable and continuous dialog in the media with an emphasize on the neighboring and regional countries

·         to arrange monthly briefing meetings with foreign media representatives stationed in Turkey in order to establish efficient communication channels to provide opportunity for foreign media to understand Turkey more accurately and vice versa

·         to arrange meetings with foreign Diplomatic Mission Chiefs in Turkey to contribute to their more accurate understanding of Turkey

·         to create seminar opportunities for Turkish journalists and editors in order to benefit from the experiences of their foreign counterparts through the guest journalist program

·         to present awards in order to enhance quality in every aspect of media and contribute to creation of a media model which aims to promote public interest (social unity and order) more efficiently
